Please remember that you can contact us anytime if you would like to see glass-blowing or shop in the gallery at The Loafing Shed. (Robert will be glassblowing throughout the summer, stocking up for fall and Christmas events.) There are are no scheduled open house events during the summer.
Of course commissioned orders are accepted and made as usual throughout the summer months.
Art in The City

The Loafing Shed is excited to be one of Surrey’s Art in the City “Hot Spots” with 4 guest artists on-site for this annual event. Talk to the numerous artists on-site. Artists will be demonstrating their work as well. See glassblowing between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Sandy Dimond – works on canvas and paper in a variety of mediums
Diane Galo – Paverpol – fabric sculpting
Jim Hatch – digital photography – uses his camera as a paintbrush
Robert Gary Parkes – blown glass
Deborah Strong – coloured pencil drawings and silk paintings

Fall Open House
Saturday & Sunday, October 21st & 22nd
10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Please note, there will NOT be guest artists at this open house. You are invited to join us in the studio, enjoy a hot beverage and see what’s new in the Gallery. Glassblowing on-going 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Jams & chutneys should be well stocked by this weekend!
Christmas at The Loafing Shed
Friday’s, Saturday’s & Sunday’s – November 17 to December 17th, 2017 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (Glassblowing until 2:00 pm only)
In addition to our glass gallery, shop from a special display of small gift items by local artists and artisans in our casual country Christmas atmosphere. (guest artists NOT on-site)
Jams & preserves by Jeanette, packaged and ready for hostess or staff gifts – ask about customized orders.
Enjoy complimentary seasonal beverages and warm up in the studio.
